Compared to just about any other survival game out there, Icarus is woefully deficient.

Dev Solution? Meh.Įxploration: Kinda loses its flair after the first dozen times on planet and there's nothing to see. Dev Solution? None, still nothing of substance.Ĭharacter Appearance: Gonna take the dev's own approach here and that's all there is to it. Story: Let me know if you find any because all I've seen is "go check XYZ out". Dev Solution? No noticeable change, looks and functions just as badly as the last time I played but some of the new workshop stuff does make a few talents redundant so.good.job? 2/3rds of the tech tree isn't even worth investing into, workshop's alright but tedious to manage. Progression: All but 20~ talents range from being completely useless to mediocre. No real skill check or anything compelling, just wonky hit registry and sidestepping a lot.
ICARUS FIRST COHORT HOW TO
AI vaguely knows how to go in a straight line at the player. You wait out the storm because with the mountain of debuffs storm exposure hits you with it renders 90% of the game(walking) impossible. Player vs environment: Lazy, no interaction at all. Let's touch base on a few aspects of the game and what's changed: Why? Because the devs really seem to struggle with the concept. It is, at it's core, devoid of any and all fun. And my take away is that it's just a bad game.
